It’s called the Retirement Tax Review. One free hour in my office here in Wilmington, where I read the return itself instead of just your account balances. Watch the short video below, then decide if it’s worth a conversation.

The Retirement Tax Review
Bring your last tax return if you have it handy. If you don’t, we can still get somewhere useful.
Not the advisory fee. The expenses buried inside the funds themselves, which most people have never seen written down.
Most advisors never ask to see it. It’s the first thing I read.
If it is on the table for this year, it has to happen before December 31st. That’s the calendar, not me.
The IRS starts making you take money out of your retirement accounts at 73. Most people get surprised by that. It’s avoidable.
What you pay for Medicare is based on your income from two years ago, which is exactly why it catches people.
What happens if there’s nothing to fix
If your setup already looks good, I’ll tell you that. People walk in here with good stuff and I say, yeah, this is pretty good. That happens more than you’d think.
There’s no pitch at the end of this, and nothing to sign.
What To Expect
Nothing to prepare, nothing to bring except the return, and even that’s optional.
Four short questions before anything gets scheduled, so I know whether an hour with me is actually going to help you. If it isn’t, I’ll say so and point you somewhere more useful.
One hour, in my office in Wilmington or over a call if that’s easier. No preparation on your end. If you have your most recent tax return handy, bring it. If not, we work with what you know.
Most advisors never ask to see it. I start there, because your tax return is where the whole picture actually shows up: what your investments cost you, what your withdrawals are going to do to your bracket, where a conversion might fit.
What I’d look at more closely, what looks fine, and anything that may be worth changing before the year closes. If there’s nothing worth changing, I’ll tell you that. No next step you didn’t ask for.
My Story
I played Division I golf, turned pro, and after that built and sold a business of my own. Rounds Golf and Lounge, right here in Wilmington. Running it is where I got hooked on the numbers side of things: the balance sheet, the taxes, learning what it really means to be a good steward of money.
When I sold, my own financial advisor told me, “You’re good at this. Come work with us.” I figured I’d give it a shot. Honestly, I didn’t think it would stick. It did.
What kept me is the puzzle. Everybody’s situation is different, and putting the pieces together is the part I genuinely love. It’s why I built my practice around the things bigger firms skip: real tax planning, and managing investments in-house instead of putting you in someone else’s products.
Before You Fill This Out
No. There’s no pitch at the end and nothing to sign. If your setup already looks good, I’ll tell you that and we’ll shake hands.
Bring it if you have it handy. If you don’t, we can still get somewhere useful in an hour, and you can send it over later if you want a closer look.
It’s the most common situation I see. Getting a second read on your taxes doesn’t obligate you to move anything, and plenty of people leave here and stay exactly where they are.
Nothing. One hour, free. If we end up working together after that, we’ll talk about fees plainly and in writing before you decide anything.
Then this isn’t built for you yet, and that’s completely fine. I’d point you to the free videos instead, and there’s a lot in there.
Because it’s the one document where the whole picture shows up in the same place. Your advisor manages your money and your accountant files your taxes. The return is where you find out whether anyone is handling what happens in between.
We may not be the right fit for everyone. And that’s okay.
But if you’re at a point where you want someone actually looking at all of it, taxes, investments, estate planning, the whole picture, and you’re tired of wondering whether anything is being missed, I’d like to talk.
Start with the hour. If your setup already looks good, I’ll tell you that, and you’ll have lost nothing but the hour.
